The system only consists of an outdoor unit and a head unit that hangs on the wall, the unit is usually connected by a series of small cables and pipes, that then connect to the outdoor unit situated on an outer wall of the home. To protect the pipes and cables from weather, they are concealed by trunking, the trunking colour can be matched to the colour of your roof or any colour of your choosing.

Types of Split System Air-conditioning

There are 4 main types of Split Systems that TMC Air install.
Wall-hung Split Systems
A wall hung split system consists of an indoor unit that is installed on an interior wall close to the ceiling of the room you wish to air-condition and an outdoor unit, which is placed on an exterior wall of your home.
Floor standing Split System
A floor standing split system consists of an indoor unit, that is installed on the interior wall of the room, close to the floor and an outdoor unit that is placed on the exterior wall of your home.
Bulkhead Split System
A bulkhead split system consists of an Indoor unit located within your ceiling space of bulkhead. The air is then distributed from the unit through slim-line bar grilles measuring at 1200mm x 100mm. The split also consists of an outdoor unit that is placed on the exterior wall of your home.
Multi-Type Split System
Multi type split systems have the ability to connect up to 6 indoor units to one outdoor unit. Multi type split systems are very flexible allowing you to individually control the room temperature for each split to your desired comfort. It is a space saving solution for heating and cooling multiple rooms in a small home that may have limited space for outdoor units or there is insufficient ceiling space for a ducted system.
